Richmond American Homes Update (06/24):
We have new neighbors in on McCartney Peak Lane! When you are on your walk, stop by, say hello and welcome them to our neighborhood and community. Kathy, Gary, Lynn and Tim, and Sherry and Rob moved into their homes in the upper development (McCartney Peak Ln).Two more new residents will be moving in their homes in the lower Development in July!
OT2 Board Activities:
2026 Annual Meeting: Thank you to everyone who attended our Annual meeting on June 20th and all who voted in our elections! Our elections results are as follows: Bill Barnet and Owen Dennison are joining Rob York, Tom Lindow and Carolyn O'Keeffe as Board members. The 2025 Annual Meeting Minutes were approved by the OT2 HOA community. The Budget for the FY 2026 - 2027 was ratified by the OT2 HOA community. The Annual Meeting's minutes and powerpoint will be uploaded to the document folder within the week.
Special Meeting of the Board: The Board met for a Special Meeting after the June 20th Annual Meeting to elect new officers and set the meeting schedule for the FY 2026 - 2027. New Board officers are President: Rob York; Vice President: Tom Lindow; Secretary: Owen Dennsion; Treasurer: Carolyn O'Keeffe. Bill Barnet will work with and support Carolyn in her work as Treasurer.
OT2 HOA Board of Directors Meeting Dates for the 2026 - 2027 FY: The Board has scheduled its Board meetings for the Fiscal Year 2026 - 2027: 2026 - July 16, August 12, September 16, October 21, November 18, and December 16. 2027 - January 20, February 17, March 17, April 21, May 19, June 16. All begin at 1:00 p.m. and are held at the Bay Club. These dates will be added to the Calendar. Once agendas and financial reports are sent to the Board members, they will be linked to calendar meeting date. Minutes and all Board materials will be uploaded to this website under Board Directors Meeting Minutes once they are approved.
July 16, 2026 - The Board will hold a Board Workshop prior to the regularly scheduled Board meeting at 1:00 p.m.
August 12, 2026 - The Board changed its August 19 Board meeting to August 12 at 1:00 p.m. due to scheduling conflicts.
Updates to Bylaws: The Board of Directors adopted the newly amended and updated Bylaws at their May 27, 2026 Board meeting. They have been uploaded to this website and are in OT2 HOA Documents folder.
OT2 HOA 2027 Annual Homeowners Meeting Date: Please mark you calendars for our 2027 Annual Homeowners meeting on June 26, 2027 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bay Club. Members will receive their Annual meeting packets in mid-May, 2027.
OT2 HOA Annual Assessment: Our Annual Assessment notice and invoice went out on June 15, 2026 via email or delivered by hand for those who do not want electronic transmission of news, notices, etc. Our 2026-2027 Annual Assessment is $275 for the entire year. Checks are due by July 1st to our P.O. Box. Our OT2 HOA address is P.O. Box 65119 Port Ludlow, Wa 98365 (it is also listed on the invoice).
SBCA News:
SBCA Annual Meeting: The 2026 SBCA Annual meeting will be held at the Bay Club on July 15th beginning at 1:00 p.m. You should have received your packet of materials including critical information on the upcoming budget and candidates running for election/reelection. Please be sure to vote and please attend the Annual Meeting. As a reminder, OT2 HOA residents also are part of the South Bay Community Association and pay annual assessment to both our OT2 HOA and SBCA HOA.
Pancake Breakfasts: SBCA hosts Pancake Breakfasts the 1st Friday of each month from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m. at the Bay Club to support different charities and non-profit organizations in our Jefferson County Community. Cost is $15.00 for pancakes, scrambled eggs, waffles, bacon and juice/coffee/tea/water. Come join us! Better yet - volunteer! It's a lot of fun and you can meet lots of people and support a local group!
